Day 1: Discovering Xiamen's Cultural and Natural Heritage

On your third day, start by visiting the South Putuo Temple, a 1,400-year-old Buddhist temple located at the foot of Wulao Peak. Admire the temple's ancient architecture and beautiful gardens while learning about the local religion and culture.

Next, head to Xiamen University, known for its beautiful campus and stunning architecture. Take a stroll through the university's picturesque gardens and courtyards, seeing the traditional stone buildings and enjoying the university's lively atmosphere. Don't miss the famous Furong Tunnel, an underground path through a mountain that connects the main and seaside campuses.

Day 4: Enjoying Xiamen's Natural Beauty

Spend your fourth day exploring Xiamen's natural beauty. Start by visiting the famous Nanputuo Temple, a Buddhist temple located on the slopes of Wulao Peak. Take a stroll through the temple's beautiful gardens and courtyards while admiring the stunning views of the city and the sea below.

After that, make your way to the nearby Xiamen Riyuegu Hot Springs Resort. Relax in the resort's hot spring pools and indulge in different spa treatments. Enjoy the resort's natural surroundings, including the bamboo groves and orchards surrounding the hot springs.

Day 5: Shopping and City Views

On your final day in Xiamen, spend the day shopping and enjoying the city views. Start by visiting the Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, one of the city's busiest shopping areas, lined with countless shops, boutiques, and malls.

For a stunning city view, head to the top of Xiamen's tallest building, the 439-meter-tall Xiamen International Centre. Take in the panoramic views of the city and the surrounding ocean from the observation deck on the 79th floor.

End your day and your trip with a stroll on the recently opened Xiamen Bay Bridge, one of the longest sea-crossing bridges in the world. Walk or bike across the bridge while enjoying the beautiful sunset views, the sea breeze, and the fresh sea air.
