Day 1: Exploring the Historic Sites

Start your tour by visiting some of Beijing's most famous landmarks. First, head over to the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would pray for a good harvest. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and sunscreen for this adventurous day.

Day 3: Art and Culture

Spend a day immersing yourself in Beijing's art and culture scene. Visit the National Museum of China to learn about the country's history and see some amazing artifacts. Then, head over to the 798 Art District, a hub for contemporary art that features galleries, studios, cafes and more. Beijing is known for its delicious cuisine, from Peking duck to dumplings and more. End your day by exploring the famous Night Market, where you can try out all sorts of exotic snacks and street food.

Day 5: Shopping and Leisure

Spend a day indulging in some shopping and leisure activities in Beijing. Start off your day at the famous Silk Street Market, where you can haggle for everything from silk clothing to souvenirs. Then, head over to the Summer Palace, a UNESCO site and one of China's best-preserved royal gardens. Take a boat ride on the Kunming Lake while enjoying the scenic views.

Day 6: Nature and Wildlife

Take a break from the city and explore the natural beauty of Beijing. Visit the Fragrant Hills Park, known for its spectacular autumn foliage and great hiking trails. Then, head to the Beijing Zoo to see the city's beloved pandas up close and personal. End your day by visiting the Olympic Park, the site of the 2008 Summer Olympics, and take a walk around the stunning Bird's Nest Stadium.

Day 7: Back to History

Wrap up your trip by diving back into Beijing's rich history. Start off your day by visiting the Confucius Temple, where you can learn about the teachings of the famous philosopher. Then, head over to the hutongs, Beijing's traditional alleyways, to get a glimpse into the city's past. Visit Prince Gong's Mansion, one of the most well-preserved residences of an imperial prince, to see how the wealthy lived during the Qing dynasty. End your trip by savoring a delicious meal at one of Beijing's famous restaurants.
